In this 9″x12″ oil on canvas panel, Blair Russell utilizes a bold, gestural approach to abstract composition. The work is characterized by its heavy impasto texture and a vibrant, primary-leaning color palette that creates a sense of energetic movement across the surface. A prominent pink form occupies the lower-left quadrant, layered with thick horizontal slashes of navy blue and capped with streaks of fiery red and bright yellow.
